Incremental measuring mode

The displayed reading is the distance from a "zero" reference. "Zero" may be set at any point of spindle travel by pressing/releasing "ON/CLR" (with "HOLD" off).

7 Measuring Ranges:

  • .060" / 1.5mm

  • 1.0" / 25.4mm

  • .150" / 3.8mm

  • 2.0" / 50.8mm

  • .250" / 6.35mm

  • 4.0" / 101.6mm

  • .600' / 15mm

Inch/Metric display conversion

  • Travel reverse
    Reverses the direction of the reading (+/-) in relationship to spindle movement.

  • Auto off
    Turns gauge off after 10 minutes of inactivity. When Auto Off is enabled, an hour glass figure appears at the left side of the display.

  • Floating Zero
    Allows the setting of ZERO at any position of the spindle.

  • Rotating bezel
    Allows the user to position the gage display at any angle, throughout 270 degrees, for convenient viewing.

  • Large direct drive LCD display
    Character height .305".

Available in 10 resolutions:

  • .00005" / .001mm

  • .0001" / .002mm

  • .00025" / .005mm

  • .0005" / .01mm

  • .001" / .02mm

  • User selectable resolution
    Other gage resolutions can be selected by the user, provided the resolution is coarser than the resolution of the gauge originally purchased.

  • 2 SPC data output formats
    RS 232: For direct interfacing to computers and serial printers
    MTI: Interface directly to MTI data collectors and/or printers

  • Measuring system of either English or Metric
    This minimizes measuring conversion errors, since you can choose either an inch or metric system.

  • Maximum reading hold
    Displays and holds the highest reading. Actual spindle position is retained.

  • 3 power sources
    Replaceable 3V Lithium CR2450 Batteries
    A/C Adapter (110V or 220V 50/60 Hz. External)
    Through the Data Port (Regulated 5VDC)

  • AGD group 2 size for up to .600" travel

  • AGD group 3 size for up to 1.0" travel

  • Internal and external serial numbers
