All foil values are nominal – foil values supplied may be slightly different to the values shown above to ensure greater accuracy. 1% foils below 50µm have an accuracy of ±0.5µm   Size: 25 mm x 50 mm     The linear transducer equipment used to measure the original films was calibrated on an annual basis and certified. The standards were also checked and have a certificate which demonstrates their traceability to National Measurement  Accreditation Service (NAMAS) and (NIST). These Precision Shims are traceable to the traceable film standards produced off this equipment, they are not NIST Standards. The linear transducer equipment used to measure these standards has an accuracy of < 0.2 µm. All Paint Thickness Gauges come with calibration standards.
