All foil values are nominal – foil values supplied may be slightly different to the values shown above to ensure greater accuracy. 1% accuracy, foils below 50µm have an accuracy of ±0.5µm   Size: 25 mm x 50 mm     The linear transducer equipment used to measure the original films was calibrated on an annual basis and certified. The standards were also checked and have a certificate which demonstrates their traceability to National Measurement  Accreditation Service (NAMAS) and (NIST). The measurement equipment used to certify these standards is validated using certified foils certified on a linear transducer which has a certificate traceable back to national measurement accreditation service (NAMAS) and (NIST) and/or NIST traceable gauge blocks, they are not NIST Standards. The linear transducer equipment used to measure these standards has an accuracy of < 0.2 µm. All Paint Thickness Gauges come with calibration standards.
